Season 4 of Channel Zero is based on I Found a Hidden Door in My Cellar by Charlotte Bywater (AKA Reddit user v0ids)[1]
It follows newlyweds Jillian and Tom Hodgson, who move into a new house and find an odd door in the cellar. What they discover in said door threatens to release the skeletons in the couple's closet.[2]
In a break from the series' usual six-week run, it aired on Friday, October 26, 2018 through Wednesday, October 31, 2018 (moved forward from its initial projected release in 2019), and all episodes were available to stream the night of the premiere on the SyFy website and on on-demand services on cable. It was released on DVD on February 12, 2019.
In January 2019, it was announced that The Dream Door would be the final season of Channel Zero.
